Operations Control Coordinator (OCC). Vilnius, Lithuania

We are currently recruiting an Operations Control Coordinator [OCC] to join our growing team in Vilnius. The successful candidate will have experience working in operations within the aviation industry. We are looking for a candidate who is a strong communicator with a great eye for detail, is calm under pressure, and enjoys problem-solving complicated situations with a team-focused approach. The job role holder will be required to handle multiple priorities and monitor a number of flights at the same time. 

ARE YOU READY TO?

  • Follow the Company operating systems and procedures;  
  • Monitor and take an action when needed to ensure that all fleet operations are completed in accordance with all safety requirements and regulations in a most effective high standard and timely manner;
  • Create preflight documentation / Crew Briefing package in accordance with the company procedures and manuals;
  • Manage and control normal daily operations and irregularities, maintain communication with crews, customers, handling agents, and airports;
  • Monitor the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to the final destination (flight following);
  • Ensure that all ground handling, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are properly arranged by the designated OPS team;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors that provide logistical support, i. e. operators, handlers, ground transportation, caterers, etc.;
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure a safe and efficient operation always following the highest quality standards.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Higher education and a minimum of 1 year work experience in the aviation industry;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in a timely manner.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

  • The ability to work on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off – 12 hour shifts consisting of 2-day shifts and 2-night shifts is essential for this position.

Salary: from 2455 € (brutto)
Salary comment: The final salary is a matter of agreement as it depends on the experience and competencies of the candidate.
